The material on this recording was created, composed, improvised, and developed around 2014-2017. Joshua Marshall joined VOCO for a live performance and that was all it took for us to realize we wanted Joshua on this recording. In March of 2017, we went to House of Faith to record with Bart Thurber. We did two live takes of our set. Joshua joined us for the second take and that is the one you hear on the recording.
